Roaring Fork
Residents
Deserve a Vote
on Runway
Expansion

OUR COMMUNITY. OUR AIRPORT. OUR VOTE.

Together, we can steward and preserve the health, wellness and majesty
of the Roaring Fork Valley.

Citizens Against Bigger Planes is founded by residents of the Roaring Fork Valley, like you, who are uniting to oppose to the expansion of the ASE airport allowing for BIGGER planes (mostly privately-owned G650 and 737s).

WE FULLY SUPPORT:

  • Bettering and Updating our ASE terminal, thereby:

  • Improving the traveler experience

  • Overhauling baggage operations

  • Expanding parking for staff and local travelers, and

  • Rebuilding the runway as needed for safe operations.

There are alternative options to what Pitkin County Commissioners are actioning & we’re asking this $500M dollar decision of the ASE airport expansion to allow BIGGER planes be given to our Community to VOTE this November.

YES to Better
NO to
“modernization*”

*AKA the County's word for BIGGER planes

This is Vail.
Is this the experience we want
in Aspen and Snowmass?

BIGGER Planes DIRECTLY Impact Roaring Fork Valley Citizens:

  • More Traffic & Congestion on Highway 82

  • Longer Lift Lines/Overcrowding Trails

  • Even Less Housing for Locals

  • Multiplied Competition for Limited Parking

  • Increased Pollution for Our Kids & Families
